Play a key role in moving inventory from suppliers worldwide to our warehouse. As a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator, you'll join a passionate, dedicated team ensuring smooth, timely, and fully compliant inventory flow from supplier to warehouse. This position serves as a critical link between our suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams. Rather than making purchasing decisions, you'll execute purchase orders based on forecasts set by others, manage inbound logistics, and maintain product data in our system. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchase Order Execution Generate, issue, and track purchase orders. Communicate order confirmations and fulfillment updates with suppliers. Monitor backorders and proactively resolve supply disruptions. Inbound Logistics Coordination Schedule and coordinate freight shipments with vendors and carriers. Track inbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery and communicate them to internal teams. Work with the warehouse team to align receiving schedules and resolve discrepancies. ERP & Product Setup Set up and maintain new and existing products in ERP system. Keep product, pricing, and vendor data accurate and up to date. Cross-Functional Collaboration Ensure all incoming shipments are compliant with government regulations. Coordinate with accounting on invoice matching, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies. Support internal audits and documentation requests related to purchasing and compliance. Assist with other general office tasks as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in purchasing, logistics, or compliance. Strong attention to detail — accuracy and thoroughness are critical in this role. Background in accounting or familiarity with accounts payable/invoice reconciliation is a plus. Comfort working in an ERP and inventory management system. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience working with freight and customs brokers. Ability to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies across purchasing and logistics.
Pay:
$29.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
