This position reports to:
Procurement Manager __ In this role, you will play a critical strategic role in the development, implementation, and optimization of regional and global indirect sourcing strategies. Working closely with business leaders, plant leadership, engineering, finance, and global category teams, you will drive procurement excellence across indirect spend categories and capital investment projects. You will be responsible for managing the full supplier lifecycle, including sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract negotiation, performance management, and project execution support. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power in Senatobia, MS.Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend and capital expenditures in alignment with business objectives Lead competitive sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract execution; create and maintain framework agreements and commercial terms Partner with cross-functional teams (plant leadership, engineering, finance, global procurement) to support strategic initiatives and capital projects Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking analyses to identify cost optimization opportunities Manage the complete supplier lifecycle including onboarding, qualification, performance monitoring, and stakeholder reporting Communicate sourcing plans, project updates, supplier performance, and savings achievements to key stakeholders Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management experience, preferably supporting indirect spend categories and capital expenditures in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting capital projects, including equipment procurement, construction services, facilities management, automation, or engineering-related spend. Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and procurement analytics tools. Knowledge of manufacturing operations and indirect procurement categories such as MRO, facilities, logistics, professional services, IT, and capital equipment is preferred.
