- As a Procurement Operations Professional, you will support various procurement activities and tasks that are not sourcing specific, ensuring maximum value add is attained for IBM's clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Deliver Client Services:
Provide exceptional client services, applying procurement business techniques to understand and satisfy client needs. Interface and support IBM's procurement teams, promoting collaboration and alignment.Support Procurement Activities:
Ensure procurement activities align with the organization's goals, supporting IBM strategic supply issues.Analyze Data:
Analyze large data sets to enable Procurement to drive business success.Improve Processes:
Apply analytic skills to utilize cognitive tools, drive business value, and improve procurement processes. Utilize root cause analysis and change management techniques to address procurement-related issues.Apply Agile Techniques:
Adopt and apply agile techniques to improve procurement processes.- Required technical and professional expertise

Procurement Operations:
Experience working with procurement activities, including business operations, policies and practices, global compliance, client services, bid management, supplier contract development, and negotiation.Analytic Skills:
Exposure to utilizing cognitive tools, analyzing large data sets, and applying root cause analysis and change management techniques to drive business value and improve procurement processes.Client Service Delivery:
Experience working with clients to understand and satisfy their needs, providing exceptional client services and promoting collaboration and alignment with procurement teams.Process Improvement:
Exposure to applying agile techniques to improve procurement processes and drive business success.Business Operations Knowledge:
Experience working with business operations, including understanding organizational goals and aligning procurement activities to support strategic supply issues.- Preferred technical and professional experience
Procurement Analytics Tools:
Exposure to utilizing cognitive tools and analyzing large data sets to drive business value and improve procurement processes.
Agile Methodologies:
Exposure to applying agile techniques to improve procurement processes and drive business success.Contract Development:
