The Small Business Center is seeking a highly motivated Business Services Senior Library Assistant (SLA) to develop, coordinate, and implement programming for all ages, spanning economic and workforce development, including entrepreneurship and small business support. The SLA will also conduct trainings for patrons and community organizations on navigating library resources that enable them to conduct market research, develop business and marketing plans, and gain job readiness techniques. Work is performed with independence under the supervision of the Business Services Manager. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including one evening shift per week (Monday), every third Saturday, and every twelfth Sunday on a rotating basis.Typical Schedule:
Monday:
11:30 a.m.- 8 p.
Tuesday:
9:30 a.m.- 6 p.
Wednesday:
9:30 a.m.- 6 p.
Thursday:
9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Friday:
9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. (off when working on Saturday)
Saturday:
9:15 a.m.- 6 p.m. (every 3rd week with 1 hour and 10 minute lunch break)
Sunday:
12:30 p.m.- 6 p.
