Job Description

Job Overview Clearlight Glass & Mirror is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and ordering materials, machine parts, production supplies, and other items needed to support our operations. This position works closely with vendors, production, management, and accounting to ensure materials are available when needed and purchasing records are accurate. Responsibilities Source vendors and research products, materials, and machine parts Obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability from vendors Set up new vendors and coordinate required documentation, including vendor applications, W-9s, and tax-exemption forms Purchase machine parts, production materials, janitorial supplies, and office supplies Create and submit purchase orders to vendors Follow up on open orders and delivery status Receive purchased items and maintain purchasing information in FeneVision Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices and submit completed documentation to Accounting Enter new parts and items into FeneVision as needed Monitor inventory levels to ensure necessary supplies remain in stock Assist with monthly inventory and cycle counts Communicate with management regarding pricing, availability, and purchasing needs Support purchasing needs for multiple company location Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or a related role preferred Experience in a manufacturing enviroment is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to research and source parts and materials Strong communication and vendor-management skills Comfortable working with purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory software Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Dependable and willing to work collaboratively with production, management, and accounting
