Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A Van Driver - Regional to support our environmental and industrial services operations. In this role, you will safely operate a Class A tractor trailer on regional routes, transporting materials and equipment between customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities. You will perform thorough pre and post trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and ensure loads are properly secured in line with DOT and company safety standards. As part of our safety first, environmentally focused culture, you will follow strict procedures, communicate closely with dispatch, deliver professional customer service, and contribute to projects that protect people and the environment. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes following DOT and company policies Transport materials and equipment to and from customer and Clean Harbors facilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Secure loads and ensure proper handling of materials in compliance with safety standards Communicate with dispatch for route planning, scheduling, and updates Follow all safety procedures and support Clean Harbors' safety-first culture Complete basic paperwork, manifests, and electronic records accurately Provide professional customer service at client and facility locations Required Skills Class A CDL truck operation Regional route driving DOT regulations and compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Load securement Basic hazardous materials handling awareness Route planning and time management Defensive driving techniques Completion of manifests and transportation paperwork
