Job Description What you'll do
Sourcing Intern:
Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs. You may solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost, and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations; Additional projects may involve implementing purchase contracts following applicable company and government regulations, and evaluating current and anticipated requirements. What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications) Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering or supply chain discipline, which includes Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Welding Engineering, or similar discipline. Bachelors or Masters degree-seeking graduation years: December 2027, May or December 2028, May or December 2029 What will make you stand out Minimum GPA of 3.0 cumulative (without rounding). Demonstrated initiative. Interest in nuclear power industry. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills.

Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship Must be willing to work in Wilmington, NC.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed. For candidates applying to a U.S.

Relocation Assistance:
Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
Housing Allowance:
Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern's permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location. Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling, and referral services GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans.
