IS ASSET MANAGEMENT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Job Summary:
Manage the execution of procurement requests through the Service Desk. Track and maintain appropriate asset inventory. Clean and sanitize equipment upon its return to the inventory. Record/scan all asset and inventory movement within the asset management software solution. Create and review asset management policies. Ensure asset management processes are followed according to policy. Organize inventory location and control flow (input/output) of equipment and supply inventory by maintaining the organization/flow of the inventory, sustain a check in/check out system, and preserve appropriate levels of inventory. Compile ad-hoc asset inventory reporting and analysis. Address any problems, obstacles, or challenges related to asset management and procurement. Forecast future inventory requirements based on projects and general needs. Ensure proper terms and conditions are adopted with vendors. Responsible for Shipping/Transporting equipment to locations. Receive incoming shipments as well as processing product returns to vendors. Coordinate e-cycle disposal of obsolete assets. Maintain vendor relationships and dashboard(s) to ensure asset continuity and competitive pricing.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma with 5+ years experience or Associates degree with 3+ years experience or Bachelor degree with at least 2+ years experience in an asset management role or similar Information Systems role focused on hardware lifecycle, asset and procurement management. Experience using computers, mobile scanners to inventory equipment and to access asset management software, mobile device management and a ticketing system Experience with data entry in order to enter property information and ticket information. Knowledge of ITIL and ITIL asset management processes is a plus. Asset management and purchasing experience. Mobile device management experience utilizing Samsung Knox, Sophos and Intune. Have good written and verbal communications skills. Capable of providing an outstanding user experience. Inventory and Information Systems knowledge. Can lift and carry 50 pounds or more of equipment safely, multiple times per day. Ability to track and provide metrics on equipment located in the warehouse and locations. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to use computers, mobile scanners, to inventory equipment and to access asset management software and ticketing system.
