Responsibilities of the Materials Buyer Manage purchase orders for raw materials and non-production items Seek competitive quotes from approved vendors Work closely with maintenance, receiving, and accounts payable teams to ensure the smooth flow of goods and swift resolution of invoice or delivery issues Monitor shared procurement inboxes, manage filing systems, and coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor representatives Track status of open purchase orders and inform internal stakeholders of any material delays Qualifications of the Materials Buyer 2 years of administrative, purchasing, or supply chain support experience Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Solid organizational and time-management skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced, plant-floor environment This Materials Buyer opportunity is expected to last through March 2027.
