Corning, New York job type: Contract salary: $26.00 - 36.40 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop strategic sourcing plans and TCO models for complex global commodities to align procurement with business and manufacturing goals.

Lead the bid and tender process, creating comprehensive RFPs/RFQs for capital equipment, facilities, and services while evaluating supplier selections.

Negotiate and manage diverse contract types, including Firm Fixed Price, GMP, and Turnkey, ensuring strict compliance with business law.

Oversee full lifecycle project procurement, tracking critical milestones, managing scope, and proactively mitigating supply chain risks.

Cultivate open, collaborative vendor relationships while monitoring performance schedules to deliver quality, on-time project execution.
