Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team and play a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring the timely procurement of materials. This position is ideal for someone with strong purchasing experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain a reliable vendor base for required materials. Procure, track, and expedite materials to meet customer and production requirements. Develop strong relationships with suppliers and support effective vendor management. Participate in supplier audits and vendor assessments. Promote competitive bidding and identify opportunities for cost savings. Negotiate and support initiatives to reduce the cost of purchased goods. Generate and maintain reports related to purchase orders, safety stock, inventory values, and purchasing activity. Maintain accurate MRP (Material Requirements Planning) data. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Inventory, and other internal departments as needed. Perform additional purchasing and procurement duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field or Supply Chain Management with 5+ years of purchasing experience , OR High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant purchasing experience . Experience working with an ERP system . Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong vendor relationship management skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP . Willingness to travel occasionally, primarily locally. Flexibility to work overtime when needed. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
