Job Overview NETC Industrial Inc. is seeking an organized, proactive Sourcing Assistant to support our Sourcing Manager in expanding our supplier network and coordinating international sourcing and product development activities. This position involves researching and evaluating manufacturing partners, communicating with suppliers, comparing quotations, and coordinating product and packaging requirements with internal departments. A key responsibility is accompanying the Sourcing Manager on international business trips, including visits to China, Cambodia, and Thailand, to assist with factory visits, supplier meetings, and negotiations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who pays close attention to detail, follows through on tasks, and is comfortable working with international partners. Responsibilities Research and identify potential suppliers and manufacturing partners based on product requirements, pricing, quality, and production capabilities. Conduct market research to identify new products, sourcing opportunities, and industry trends. Contact suppliers to obtain quotations, product specifications, samples, and other information for the Sourcing Manager's review. Support daily supplier communication, clarify requirements, and follow up on pricing, sample development, production schedules, and outstanding questions. Assist the Sourcing Manager with negotiations involving pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Travel internationally with the Sourcing Manager to support factory visits, supplier meetings, and negotiations. Prepare meeting materials, document discussions, and follow up on agreed actions. Coordinate product samples and maintain accurate records of feedback, revisions, and approvals. Work closely with internal departments and suppliers on product packaging, artwork, labeling, and specifications to ensure requirements are accurately communicated and implemented. Prepare quotation comparisons, reports, presentations, and project updates. Maintain organized supplier records and track project deadlines, production progress, and pending tasks. Assist in resolving supplier issues, production delays, and product or packaging discrepancies. Provide administrative and coordination support to the Sourcing Manager as needed. Qualifications and Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to prepare spreadsheets, analyze quotations, and create professional reports and presentations. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for editing product images and assisting with packaging artwork and related materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with international suppliers. Strong research and analytical skills to evaluate suppliers, compare proposals, and organize findings. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and follow up consistently. Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required, including to China, Cambodia, and Thailand. Flexibility to coordinate with overseas suppliers across different time zones. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the Sourcing Manager and internal departments. Previous experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, or product development is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, packaging development, and international sourcing is a plus. Why Join Us?
