Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to support our procurement and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational buying or purchasing experience who is eager to grow within a dynamic supply chain environment. The Junior Buyer will assist in sourcing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in purchasing materials, components, and supplies to meet production and operational needs. Support vendor communication, including requesting quotes, tracking orders, and resolving discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and help maintain optimal stock levels. Participate in cycle counting activities and assist in inventory reconciliation. Enter and manage purchase orders within the company's ERP system. Collaborate with internal teams (production, warehouse, finance) to ensure alignment on inventory and purchasing needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation for procurement activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in buying, purchasing, or a related field (preferred) Basic understanding of inventory control principles Familiarity with cycle counting processes Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience working with ERP systems (or ability to learn quickly) Understanding of unit conversions (e.g., quantities, measurements, packaging units) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
