Job Description The Buyer/planner is responsible for and manages purchasing, materials requirements planning, supplier relationship management, product life cycle and service design, among other things for the critical supplier's management. The Day to
Day:
  • Placing and managing orders to support forecast and production orders
  • Managing supplier relationships and ensuring OTD, High Quality and Cost is maintained
  • Building and creating commodity strategies that support business objectives
  • Working cross functionally to support NPI Projects
  • Maintaining queues that directly impact order placement, acknowledgement, delivery, part set up, etc. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, or Business related position.
  • Experience and knowledge of using SAP or similar ERP systems, order management, inventory management, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and RFQs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, work independently, and document work effectively.
