is seeking a Buyer to join our team in Brookville, OH.

Job Summary:

The Buyer will be responsible for all aspects of the purchase of raw materials and or finished goods from vendors. This includes verifying purchase orders, pricing, and quoting vendors, coordinating shipments with shipping carriers, and working with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have experience with purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews purchase orders for accuracy and completeness by researching suppliers, receiving, and paying for purchase orders. Reviews purchase orders with suppliers to determine quantity, quality, and quantity discounts on purchase orders. Reviews purchase orders with Production Manager to ensure that prices are competitive and are consistent with current prices at

CO., LTD.. Coordinates the shipment of raw materials to Production Manager by reviewing available shipping carriers' availability and coordinating pick-up times with shipping carriers. Works with Production Manager to ensure that all raw materials are delivered on time and on budget. Pricing of finished goods by determining price per unit, per weight, per weight ratio, etc., by reviewing production records, purchasing records, etc. by coordinating with Production Manager and Sales Team. Works with Sales Team to ensure that prices are competitive and are consistent at

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
