Job Description

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track request for quote (RFQ) activities Work with suppliers to ensure PO promises are input into the ERP system Monitor supplier development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary Interface with manufacturing team to support first build Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics. Provide summaries and prepare weekly updates as required
Preferred Skills:
Associate degree in a technical field preferred Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications desired Microsoft Office proficient; especially in Excel (pivot tables, etc.) Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to project scheduling and cross-functional interactions Possess excellent communication skills both written and orally as they will be working with a variety of suppliers AXEL01
