We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to drive strategic sourcing and purchasing performance across the organization. The Procurement Specialist will take ownership of purchasing activities, inventory procurement, and supplier relationships across our branches. This is a high-impact individual-contributor role responsible for ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are available to support warehouse operations, active job sites, and company needs — while driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and process improvement. This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership while leading a small purchasing team. Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement of purchasing processes. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage purchasing, reporting, and inventory coordination. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards, and help shape best practices. Serve as a subject-matter expert and mentor to junior purchasing staff on sourcing strategy and vendor negotiation, without formal supervisory authority. Qualifications 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related industries. Demonstrated experience owning strategic sourcing decisions and vendor negotiations independently. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control skills.
