Inc. is proud to be an Employee Owned and Operated premier steel fabrication and manufacturing company. In business since 1976, our 100,000 square foot facility is located in Fairless Hills, PA. We are currently looking for an experienced Purchasing Agent to add to our team. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely purchasing of specific products as required in a safe and timely manner. Experience in the steel industry is essential.

Duties include:

Performing cost reduction initiatives when purchasing needed products for daily operations Expediting delivery of purchased parts and maintaining accurate bill of material, item, and vendor master records Managing supplier improvement efforts and evaluating supplier performance Analyzing inventory levels to determine efficient purchasing on a monthly basis Planning and releasing purchase orders in support of the production plan Driving strategic supplier selection to ensure best-in-class suppliers are capable of supporting product programs Performing monthly inventory, and providing accurate reports for month end closings Performing other related duties as requested If you are looking for a career with a well-established company and would like to become a part of our success, please forward let us hear from you. 5+ years of related Purchasing experience Steel industry knowledge is required Supplier and Vendor management Inventory knowledge Work with Production and Operations Teams to plan future and ongoing projects and have the supplies in-house in a timely manner Reporting for End of Month Ability to work in a very deadline driven environment
