Industry Background:

• Experience in purchasing

Responsibilities:

? Process purchase orders for spare parts, assemblies and components ? Analyze and communicate relevant data such as vendor quotes, parts lists, reports, etc. ? Obtain, evaluate and negotiate bids from suppliers for price, delivery, quality, and terms and conditions ? Manage open order base to optimize maximum supplier performance ? Evaluate supplier performance with various rating methods ? Conduct supplier meetings and business reviews ? Assist with cost reduction activities ? Interact effectively with internal and external customers ? Produce reports, statistics, and strategies

Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree can be substituted by minimum of 4 years direct work experience ? Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience; eight years preferred ?
