Category Sales Position Summary:
This position will support the Category Manager(s) with the day-to-day activities used to drive sales and achieve department and category objectives. This position will collaborate with internal and external associates to accomplish goals promptly.
Description of Work:
Review, verify and setup new vendors and new items as requested by the Category Manager in an accurate and timely fashion across multiple systems Process item maintenance, cost changes, and freight adjustments for vendors with accuracy daily Enter, track and process billing each period Communicate effectively across all departments, including Inventory Management, Center Store, Accounting, AWG Brands and warehouse teams Assist with deduction resolution as needed Interact with vendor partners to ensure accurate item maintenance Communicate and interact with cross-functional departments at AWG Compile and run data reports as requested by the Category Manager Assist with special projects and other assigned duties

Qualifications:
College degree preferred but not required Consumer Products Goods or related industry experience preferred Knowledge of AWG systems preferred to include SCM, PComm, Balances, OnDemand, Peoplesoft Minimum of 6 months previous customer service experience Microsoft Office experience required; strong Excel knowledge preferred Must be able to multi-task easily and efficiently with strong communication skills Must possess excellent prioritization and organizational skills Must be detail oriented Must be a team player Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
