46-48/hour About the Company Our client is a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics, providing innovative products that support scientific discovery and improve healthcare outcomes worldwide. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations and supplier management activities. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage procurement workflows, resolve supplier issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage purchase order workflows in SAP to support business operations Resolve invoice discrepancies and minimize overdue payments Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks and issues Ensure on-time delivery of goods that meet quality standards Drive purchasing efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor supplier performance, costs, and delivery metrics Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply chain challenges Lead supplier communications and support problem resolution efforts Impact in This Role Ensure timely placement of purchase orders to support customer fulfillment Maintain and optimize master data for efficient procurement processes Drive on-time and in-full supplier delivery performance Build strong supplier relationships and lead resolution of complex issues Contribute leadership and strategic thinking to procurement operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required; APICS certification preferred 5+ years of experience in a procurement or supply chain environment Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams Experience with SAP required; Kinaxis experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, innovative mindset Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Please submit your resume in Word or PDF format to be considered.Similar remote jobs
