In this role the Program Support Specialist I will serve as a technology procurement and records coordinator and Technology Acquisition Advisor Associate (TAAA.) The role provides critical support to leadership's Internal Business Operations team to ensure the smooth, compliant, and efficient processing of technology procurement actions and financial coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented; someone who excels at foundational and process-driven work. This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits!

Pay Rate:

$33.00 - $36.20/hr. DOE.

Portland, OR., Remote work eligible! Key Responsibilities for

Program Support Specialist:

Request Management & Process Coordination Monitor and manage the shared procurement inbox, including reviewing, triaging, tracking, and routing technology-related requests. Direct requestors to the appropriate procurement system, processes, and submission requirements. Provide timely status updates and professional customer support. Procurement Documentation & Records Management Track contract renewals to ensure timely submission of complete procurement packages. Obtain vendor cost estimates and assist with gathering and reviewing required procurement documentation. Maintain organized, centralized records in accordance with compliance, information security, and records management requirements. Ensure official records are accurate, accessible, audit-ready, and appropriately protected. Financial Coordination Coordinate the collection and submission of monthly technology-related accrual information. Maintain accurate records of financial submissions and related communications. SharePoint Management Support the organization, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the IT Acquisition SharePoint site. Maintain current templates, procedures, policies, and other resources. Conduct routine content reviews and support approved site enhancements to improve accessibility, accuracy, and usability. Requirements for

Program Support Specialist:

An Associate's degree or equivalent training in Information/Computer Technology, Business Systems, Computer Technology, or a related technical field is preferred. 1 year of experience is requiredwith an applicable Associate's degree. 3 years of experience are required without a degree or an applicable degree. Experience must be consistent with the specific requirements of a Business Analyst, business purchasing agent, and/or information technology business analysis and support role. Demonstrated experience managing a shared inbox or utilizing a ticket-based system (e.g., Cherwell Service Management, ServiceNow) to triage requests, enforce process compliance, redirect users to correct submission portals, and manage competing priorities. Basic familiarity with procurement, purchasing, or basic financial tracking processes. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SharePoint for file and document management. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to present information in various forms (textual, graphical, and statistical). Ability to follow established procedures with high precision, consistency, and strict adherence to deadlines. A valid REAL ID and or US Passport required.
