Job Description

Eisenhower Heath is seeking a Pharmacy Procurement and 340B Specialist (Licensed Pharmacy Technician) This is a remote position

Job Objective:

Ensures that all hospital medications and related supplies are maintained at adequate levels to meet hospital demands and consistent with formulary, turnover, and budgetary goals. Orders drugs from wholesaler or direct from manufacturer according to departmental specifications.

Education:

Required:

High school diploma, GED or higher level degree

Licensure/Certification:

Required:

California Board of Pharmacy Technician (PHT)

License Experience:

Required:

Three (3) years of inpatient pharmacy experience including unit dose, IV additives, etc.

Preferred:

Experience with purchasing of medication, inventory management or equivalent

Essential Skills:

Strong attention to detail Written and verbal communication skills Ability to speak and understand English Strong mathematical and pharmaceutical calculation ability Ability to use computer and typing skills Strong organizational skills
