Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated no excuses entrepreneurial minded professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a pattern of not sucking. Sure, it'd be nice if you possess a strong background in loan origination and/ or account management, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service but honestly i can teach that. This role involves managing the loan process from application to submission, making sure you do a stellar job at knowing our clients and giving the best advice for them, even when it isn't the most profitable. Of course you have to ensure compliance with all regulations while fostering relationships with clients and our referring partners but someone that wants to make the kind of money to change their family tree will figure that junk out. We have a full in-house ops team to make sure you are able to spend your time making the next deal happen not just baby sit the current pipeline. We have a graduated commission tier that compensates top performers better than almost anyone in the industry. We keep our overhead low which allows you to offer great rates while also making great money. Duties Be Cool Show up everyday with a business owner's mentality and desire to grow Have conversation skills and desire to make a lot of money by getting really great at helping a lot of people achieve their goals. Evaluate and analyze loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct credit analysis to determine borrower eligibility and risk assessment. Guide clients through the loan origination process, providing clear communication and support. Utilize FNMA guidelines to ensure compliance with lending standards. Maintain detailed records of loan transactions and client interactions using accounting software. Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate timely approvals and closings. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in mortgage servicing. Perform basic math calculations for loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules. Requirements First and most important requirement is that you have to want something more for yourself and others. I don't care what your resume says you have done, I care what your actions say you WILL do. I don't care if you are professional butterfly collector right now. If you think you can do this, show the initiative and call us. Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role within the financial services industry would be really cool, but not 100% necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong sales skills to effectively promote loan products and services. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously. Basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and payments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
