This role will partner across the organization to analyze spend patterns, identify opportunities, develop business cases, and provide data-driven insights that support supplier negotiations, sourcing events, and procurement decision-making. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining dashboards and reporting that track savings, rebates, cost avoidance, DPO improvements, and other procurement performance metrics, ensuring value creation is visible and actionable. The ideal candidate combines advanced Excel and Power BI expertise with strong financial and commercial acumen, the ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to executive audiences, and practical experience leveraging enterprise-approved generative AI tools to enhance productivity and insights. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for an analytical professional who can effectively translate data into recommendations, influence decisions, and drive implementation from concept through execution.

Competitive Compensation:
A competitive total rewards package including an attractive annual salary of $68,000-$87,000, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Spend Analysis Analyze spend by category, supplier, business unit, site, and cost center to identify sourcing, consolidation, compliance, and process improvement opportunities. Support end-to-end sourcing events, including market research, RFx development, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, negotiation preparation, award recommendations, implementation, and benefit tracking. Build category strategies, supplier analyses, business cases, and executive recommendations; maintain the sourcing pipeline, action plans, and project documentation. Value Creation & Financial Analysis Apply consistent methods for savings, cost avoidance, rebates, working-capital improvements, and other procurement benefits. Develop total cost of ownership, ROI, payback, scenario, and sensitivity models. Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to track value from identification through negotiation, implementation, and validation; support rebate forecasting, reconciliation, and collection tracking. Analytics, Reporting & AI Build and maintain advanced Excel models, Power Query workflows, and Power BI dashboards covering spend, supplier performance, sourcing pipeline, contract coverage, rebates, and realized value. Reconcile data from multiple sources, document assumptions and methodologies, and translate complex analysis into concise executive insights and recommendations. Use approved AI tools, including ChatGPT, to accelerate analysis, research, RFx development, reporting, and communication; validate all outputs and protect confidential information. Identify and implement practical automation opportunities across procurement processes. Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Support Research supplier capabilities, pricing, market trends, risks, and competitive alternatives to support sourcing decisions. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, HR, Legal, Accounts Payable, and business leaders on sourcing initiatives, implementation, and issue resolution. Communicate recommendations, decisions, and project status clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of higher education. 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, spend analytics, business analytics, financial analysis, consulting, or a related discipline is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports. Practical proficiency with ChatGPT or other enterprise-approved generative AI tools, including output validation and responsible handling of confidential data. Experience creating financial models and tracking savings, rebates, cost avoidance, or other measurable business value. Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and project-management skills, with the ability to convert complex data into clear recommendations. Ability to work independently with large datasets and multiple data sources while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or another multi-site operating environment. Experience using SAP procurement or financial data and familiarity with sourcing, supplier management, spend analytics, or workflow automation platforms. Experience supporting complex supplier negotiations and commercial agreements; relevant Power BI, analytics, or procurement certification is a plus.
