This position plays a key role in supporting purchasing, product sourcing, inventory planning, and customer quotation activities. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with data, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating across multiple departments to ensure products are sourced efficiently and competitively. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment and wants to build a career in procurement, sourcing, costing, and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze customer requests for quotation (RFQs) and prepare accurate cost estimates. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to support pricing and sourcing decisions. Research and develop new domestic and international supplier relationships. Compare supplier pricing, lead times, quality, and capabilities. Assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities. Monitor purchasing trends, material costs, and market conditions. Support vendor negotiations and cost reduction initiatives. Maintain accurate costing, sourcing, and purchasing records. Work closely with sales, operations, customer service, and suppliers to meet customer requirements. Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze purchasing and inventory data. Assist with special projects related to procurement, sourcing, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred. Previous experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, costing, inventory planning, quoting, customer service, manufacturing, or supply chain operations preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, fasteners, or related industries is a plus.
