Job Description
Procurement Specialist What You'll Do Maintain and update the company's subcontractor and vendor database. Identify, qualify, and onboard new vendors and suppliers. Coordinate bid and proposal activities, including preparing bid packages and bidder lists. Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to support procurement activities. Issue and track Requests for Information (RFIs), addenda, and project documentation. Solicit proposals from vendors and subcontractors and follow up to ensure timely responses. Review proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Assist with quantity takeoffs and material verification when needed. Maintain submittal logs, schedules, and procurement documentation. Track material fabrication, lead times, and delivery schedules. Organize electronic and physical project files throughout the procurement process. Collaborate with internal project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on schedule. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, project coordination, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Experience working with ERP systems, procurement software, or document management systems is a plus. Experience reviewing technical documents, contracts, or specifications is preferred. Construction industry experience, bid coordination, submittals, or estimating support is highly preferred but not required.
