Job Description The Procurement Technician performs a variety of specialized administrative duties. Provides assistance to department management, co-workers, and the general public.
Essential Functions:
Obtains competitive price quotes under $2,000.00. Converting department requisitions to Purchase Orders (PO). Sign off on packages. Retrieve and manage all incoming procurement mail. Stamp all outgoing Florence County mail. Answer phone calls. Greet people at the window. Sign out requisition books. Schedule appointments for the Procurement Director.
Non-Essential Functions:
Performs all other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience Requires a high school diploma supplemented by one to two years of clerical or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform all of the requirements of this position.
