Job Description

division is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer. This is an on-site position located at our Jonesville, SC facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. Anticipated travel for this role will be 10%. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing procurement activities to support plant production requirements. You will manage end-to-end purchase order execution, supplier coordination, logistics, and material planning to ensure on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and alignment with business objectives.- Manage purchase orders from placement through closure, including accuracy, acknowledgments, updates, and issue resolution.
- Execute order management activities, including pricing, delivery date management, PO tracking, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor supplier commitments and proactively address supply disruptions.
- Monitor and communicate supply status, constraints, and recovery plans to stakeholders
- Ensure orders align with approved parts, MOQ, packaging, lead times, demand forecasts and other related parameters.
- Manage Supplier Price Increase Requests (SPIR) and ensure proper review and approval processes
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely material delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DMR/RMA processes and supplier-related quality issues
- Manage supplier relationship and performance to support cost, quality, delivery, and service objectives
- Maintain purchasing records, including pricing, price breaks, supplier contracts, and procurement-related documentation.
- Support supplier selection and procurement activities by issuing RFQs, reviewing supplier quotations, negotiating pricing and terms to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Participate in special projects and supply chain improvement initiatives as assigned ##
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years in supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRP Planning, Purchasing and/or other Supply Chain related areas within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP.
- No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
