Job Description
About Us We are a growing manufacturer building quality products. As we expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Agent to lead our sourcing efforts, strengthen our supply chain, and secure the right materials and components at the right price. The Role The Senior Sourcing Agent owns both domestic and overseas sourcing and is responsible for driving down cost and protecting quality. This is a senior role for a seasoned professional who can find better sources, negotiate effectively, manage international suppliers, and move product from an overseas factory to our facility on time and on budget. What You Will Do Execute the sourcing for raw materials, components, and finished goods across domestic and international suppliers Identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers, with an emphasis on both domestic and overseas markets Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to reduce cost while safeguarding quality and reliability Manage overseas purchasing and container imports end to end, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers and staying ahead of tariffs and trade conditions Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and hold vendors accountable to quality and delivery standards Monitor lead times and inventory needs, and proactively resolve supply issues before they affect production Analyze spend, track savings, and report results to leadership What We Are Looking For Significant experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement, ideally in a manufacturing environment A proven track record of negotiating meaningful cost savings without sacrificing quality Hands-on experience with both domestic and overseas sourcing and import logistics, including freight and customs Established supplier relationships, domestic and international Strong analytical skills and comfort managing many suppliers and moving parts at once Excellent communication, follow-through, and the ability to work independently and own outcomes
