Job Description
Reports to:
Operations Manager Core Responsibility:
- Responsible for researching and comparing supplier goods, reliability, product quality, services, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory control at warehouse. Purchase and stock all materials needed for both civil projects and tower projects.
- Responsible for mapping cranes, rental companies, and concrete companies that we use and providing that information to our CM or PM. Able to recommend and help find alternatives should master list be exhausted, When project is released for CX
- provide top (3) solutions for rock, cranes, equipment and give to CM or PM to schedule. CM or PM responsibility to schedule and track equipment/material needs to site. Utilize Purchasing Agent for logistical solution should it be needed.
- Tracking all Equipment Rentals
- making sure things are called off This includes port-o-pottys, equipment accessories, etc. If CM or PM gets their own equipment, you should be notified and update the tracker. You can ask them to update tracker if needed.
- Manage material needs/staging for upcoming jobs Ensure material that is on the lists are in our inventory Work with the warehouse team to ensure material is pulled and staged. This does include helping pull materials if needed.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to maintain quality, timely delivery, and contractual terms.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports to operation (materials, equipment rental, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
- Looking for cost effective ways to purchase tools and equipment needed to accommodate the services we provide.
- Verifying material deliveries at warehouse.
- Market research
- identify purchase agreements and potential vendors.
- 1 year experience in electrical and or construction purchasing is a plus
Pay:
$50,000.00- $60,000.
