Essential duties and responsibilities: Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language To provide purchasing services for TPC departments, staff and vendors Perform routine and complex work in the purchasing of commodities, materials and services Prepare reports,complete formal and informal bids,process requisitions through local, state and federal contracts and other related governmental entities Perform all communications relating to processed purchase orders expediting, change notices, and vendor relation reports as necessary Work with all staff and vendors to determine the best value to the Center Willingness to assist walk-in customers and pull stock as necessary to fill orders Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised Required qualifications to be successful in the job: Experience in a position that provides a working knowledge of general purchasing and contracting High school diploma or GED One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).
