Our team is responsible for strategic sourcing and supplier collaboration to deliver aerospace and defense solutions. What You Will Be Doing As the Procurement Engineer Sr you will be responsible for driving cross‑functional coordination and ensuring the successful design, production, test, and qualification of aerospace and defense products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, and external experts to drive design, production, test, and qualification of aerospace and defense products. Analyze technical data, specifications, and manufacturing constraints to assess supplier capabilities and part availability. Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on cost, technical compliance, facility inspections, and performance history. Lead cross‑functional teams to resolve producibility, quality, cost, and reliability challenges through trade‑offs and standardization. Recommend design changes and implement mistake‑proofing measures to enhance affordability and reliability. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications Background/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical information Motivated to learn and adapt with proactive mindset Desired Skills Statement of Work/Requirements Writing Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience interfacing with suppliers or Customers Green Belt or Black Belt Certified Capacity Analysis and experience with Discrete Event Simulation Software Experience coordinating cross-functionally across disciplines (GSC, E&T, Quality, PM, etc.)Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
