Carrollton, TX Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized, analytical Scheduling and Coordinator to own order validation, material readiness, production scheduling, and on-time execution. This role confirms orders are complete and production-ready, ensures garments and raw materials are purchased and available, develops achievable production schedules, and proactively communicates risks. The ideal candidate brings advanced planning and modeling experience, exceptional attention to detail, and strong cross-functional leadership.Key Responsibilities:
Validate customer orders before scheduling, confirming quantities, product specifications, artwork and approvals, production requirements, pricing, due dates, routing, and other critical information are complete and accurate. Determine material requirements; create and manage purchase orders for garments, raw materials, trims, packaging, and outsourced services; and ensure materials are allocated and available when needed. Create and maintain production schedules by week, day, department, and equipment, balancing customer priorities, due dates, capacity, labor, setup requirements, and material availability. Develop and maintain advanced capacity, demand, and scenario-planning models to identify constraints, evaluate alternatives, and support scheduling and purchasing decisions. Coordinate cross-functional planning with Customer Service, Sales, Art, Product Development, Sourcing, Production, and Distribution while maintaining accurate order, inventory, purchasing, and schedule data in the ERP system. Monitor production against the schedule, identify risks or delays early, and coordinate recovery plans, priority changes, expediting, or resource adjustments to protect delivery dates. Proactively communicate material issues, scheduling concerns, and revised timelines to the Customer Service team, including clear impacts, recommended next steps, and updated completion expectations.Qualifications:
Three or more years of production planning, scheduling, or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment; apparel experience is preferred. Advanced experience in capacity modeling, demand planning, material requirements planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and planning models. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and prioritization across a high volume of orders, purchases, and deadlines. Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, including risk identification, root-cause analysis, and practical decision-making. Strong communication, accountability, follow-through, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Why Join Us?
