GRPB Job Description:
The Service & Repair (S&R) Junior Buyer supports service operations by procuring spare parts, repair materials, components, and related services needed to maintain equipment reliability and customer service commitments. This role is responsible for managing repair-related purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking lead times, and ensuring timely availability of parts to minimize equipment downtime. The S&R Junior Buyer works closely with Service, Operations, Inventory, and Procurement teams to support efficient repair and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency when supporting customer and repair needs.
Preferred:
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, service operations, repair processes, inventory management, or procurement.
Preferred:
Knowledge of spare parts management, maintenance operations, or aftermarket support environments.
