Job Description

Position Summary:
We're looking for a resourceful and detail-driven Purchasing Agent to join our operations team full-time at our Elgin, TX headquarters. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing materials, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring materials and supplies are available on time to meet production and project schedules. You'll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and logistics to keep orders on track and costs under control. Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure raw materials, parts, and supplies based on job requirements and inventory levels Issue purchase orders to vendors and confirm order accuracy, pricing, and lead times Track and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery Communicate with vendors regarding delays, shortages, and quality concerns Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and project management teams to ensure material availability aligns with project timelines Maintain accurate records in ERP system (NetSuite or equivalent) for all purchase orders and vendor activity Monitor inventory levels and suggest restocking needs Assist with vendor evaluations and maintaining approved supplier lists Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings or improved lead times 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping Must be able to work full-time on-site in
