Position Summary The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required to support manufacturing and business operations. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, cost competitiveness, quality, and continuity of supply while maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement best practices. Key Responsibilities Source and procure indirect materials, equipment, and services to support business operations. Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and quality metrics. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term business objectives. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality teams to support production schedules and business requirements. Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays. Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvements. Analyze procurement data, spending trends, and inventory levels to support strategic sourcing initiatives. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing practices, and contractual obligations. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and purchasing reports within ERP systems. Support new product introductions by sourcing materials and qualifying suppliers as needed. Participate in supplier evaluations, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience negotiating supplier pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules. Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting electronics, automotive, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries. Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier performance management. Experience with MRP/ERP systems, eProcurement platforms (Coupa, Ariba, etc.), and data analysis tools. Professional certification such as CPSM, CPP, or
