Job Description

Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, tooling, and MRO supplies while supporting inventory needs, supplier performance, and cost control. Job Requirements 2-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience. Experience using ERP or MRP systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience issuing and managing purchase orders. Experience evaluating supplier pricing, delivery, quality, and reliability. Experience tracking purchasing costs and supplier performance. Preferred Skills Purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience purchasing raw materials. Experience purchasing tooling. Experience purchasing MRO supplies. Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience with supplier sourcing and vendor management. Experience with inventory replenishment and stock material planning. Job Responsibilities Purchase raw materials, tooling, and MRO supplies for production and facility operations. Source and evaluate new suppliers. Maintain supplier and vendor records. Request and evaluate supplier quotations. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Issue purchase orders and track order status. Monitor delivery performance and follow up on delayed orders. Coordinate with inventory personnel to monitor stock levels and reorder materials. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service performance. Track purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain supplier databases and vendor performance records. Prepare purchasing, supplier performance, and inventory reports.
