In this role, you will be responsible for the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring materials, equipment and services are purchased efficiently, accurately, and on time. Responsibilities:
Manage the purchasing and procurement process for materials, equipment, supplies, and services Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure accuracy Research, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance Compare pricing, quality, availability, and delivery timelines to secure the best value Track orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery Work closely with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and requirements Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing information, and vendor documentation Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies, damaged goods, and delivery issues Monitor inventory levels and help identify purchasing needs Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role Strong vendor management and negotiation skills Experience creating and managing purchase orders Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working with ERP or purchasing systems Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments #AO9
