This position will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities for multiple construction projects throughout Texas, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are ordered accurately and delivered on time. The Purchasing Specialist will work closely with our Operations and Accounting teams , as well as vendors and project teams, to ensure purchasing needs are handled efficiently and according to company requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, and have experience working with purchasing and project management systems such as Foundation and Kojo . Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate purchasing activities for multiple CEBSA Inc. projects throughout Texas. Review purchasing requests from project teams and ensure materials and services are ordered accurately and on time. Create, process, and track purchase orders from initial request through delivery. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, orders, deliveries, and any issues that may arise. Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers. Obtain and compare pricing to help ensure competitive costs for materials, equipment, and services. Work closely with the Operations team to understand project needs, priorities, and delivery requirements. Work closely with the Accounting team regarding purchase orders, invoices, receipts, pricing, and payment-related questions. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation. Track orders and follow up with vendors to help prevent delays that could affect project schedules. Utilize Foundation and Kojo to manage and track purchasing information and project-related procurement. Use Excel and other tools to organize purchasing information, track orders, and assist with reporting. Manage multiple purchasing requests and priorities across different projects. Identify purchasing issues and communicate them to the appropriate Operations or Accounting team members. Follow CEBSA Inc. purchasing procedures and company policies. Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as needed. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, construction, or a related field preferred. Experience working with Foundation and/or Kojo is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with vendors, project managers, superintendents, Operations, and Accounting. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage purchasing needs for multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and vendor documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the Operations and Accounting teams. Construction industry experience is a plus. Position Expectations This position plays an important role in supporting CEBSA Inc.'s projects across Texas.
