In this Industrial Purchasing Agent opportunity, you'll source power transmission components and high-quality industrial materials while building strong vendor relationships that keep products arriving on time and to spec. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Purchasing Agent position include: Industrial purchasing experience with power transmission components and materials for large construction equipment. Source power transmission components and industrial materials. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes, pricing, lead times, and product quality. Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable purchasing terms. Ensure ordered products meet quality and reliability requirements. Monitor orders and coordinate timely delivery of materials. Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships and identify dependable suppliers. Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor documentation and support cost-control efforts without sacrificing product standards.
