In this role, you will manage purchase orders, negotiate vendor terms, monitor supplier performance, and ensure raw materials, components, and services are delivered on time to support manufacturing operations and project deadlines. High SchoolResponsibilities Procurement Operations:
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) for direct/indirect materials, equipment, and services based on MRP requirements.
Supplier Management:
Maintain relationships with key suppliers, track delivery schedules, expedite overdue orders, and resolve shipment or invoicing discrepancies.
Sourcing & Negotiation:
Solicit bids, conduct price/cost analyses, and negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Planning, Inventory, Logistics, Engineering, and Quality teams to prevent material shortages and align procurement with production schedules.
Compliance & Systems:
Maintain accurate procurement data in the ERP system (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and adhere to De Nora's global procurement policies and ethical standards.
