This unique role involves receiving orders from our sales team and sourcing specialized products, including international food items from local vendors. The primary responsibility is to shop for items, ensuring their accuracy, and returning them to our warehouse for integration into customer orders. The role emphasizes time management, independence, and a positive attitude to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will occasionally require making small deliveries to local marine terminals in support of our drivers/warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and review orders from the sales team to identify specific items required for customers. Source products from local vendors and wholesalers, ensuring quality and accuracy of the items selected. Manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring that all items are acquired within established timelines. Transport sourced items back to the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation for inventory tracking. Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing. Maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate quick sourcing and potential future partnerships. Ensure a high level of accuracy in order fulfillment and product selection. Adapt to changes in orders and requirements quickly, with the ability to prioritize effectively. Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure order accuracy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams. Prior experience in a similar sourcing, procurement, maritime or customer service role is a plus. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to drive and transport goods as needed (valid driver's license required). Hold a valid TWIC card or ability to get one withing 3 months of employment. Why Join Us?
