Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Procurement Agents (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA. 100% onsite
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • 5+ years' experience in supply chain processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiations, proposals, or contract evaluations.
  • 5+ years of multi-tasking.
  • Ability to travel domestically.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies. Manage, evaluate, and drive overall supplier performance to meet established expectations by developing strong professional relationships across the supply base, with customers, and among enterprise stakeholders.
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to suppliers; enforcing compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and manage corrective and preventive actions with suppliers; oversee contested warranty claims and related resolution activities; oversee assertions.
  • Communicate timely, actionable performance-to-plan updates to leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers using clear, concise verbal and written communication.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by client.
Domestic Travel:
Local/ infrequent travel to suppliers is possible.
