Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Buyer to support procurement activities across construction and facilities projects, with a strong focus on strategic supplier management, contract execution, and cost and price analysis. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional who can help drive procurement performance, support project needs, and ensure awards and purchasing actions align with established processes and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day procurement activities for construction and facilities projects, including supplier and contractor selection. Develop and manage RFP/RFQ packages, evaluate responses, and help award business that aligns with company objectives. Prepare purchase orders and change orders using Costpoint and/or Coupa, and maintain accurate supplier documentation. Monitor supplier performance, resolve purchasing and delivery issues, and support backlog tracking, reporting, and schedule risk mitigation. Understanding avionics systems and components, including software and hardware (EEE components, PCBs, PCBAs, LRUs, antennas, batteries, sensors, ordnance, harnesses, instrumentation, secondary structures, engineering & testing services).
Required:
Minimum of eight (8) years of tactical-level experience in purchasing or supply chain. Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field. Experience with cost and price analysis and above-average knowledge of cost-type contracting. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Windows programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience with Costpoint and/or Coupa purchasing systems is required. Facilities, construction, aerospace, avionics systems purchasing experience
