About Us:

Crescent Lighting Supply is a leading supplier of lighting, fans, and other specialty building materials for the residential construction industry. We are looking for a service-oriented person who thrives in managing multiple projects and duties with a high level of detail and time management. Reporting to our Director of Purchasing, this role will support two high performing outside salespeople while also contributing project-level support to our evolving purchasing team.

What You'll Do:

Follow-up on open purchase orders to identify estimated ship dates, tracking information, and potential backorders impacting customer orders Create quotes, sales orders, and submittal packages for customer projects Assist with preparing customer will call orders for pick-up Inventory costing and data management including the creation of new item codes and clean-up Assist in data analysis of excess and obsolete inventory and the process of vendor returns

Optimal Experience or Skills:

1-3+ years in a sales and/or supply chain-related support role Strong organizational and data entry skills with a high attention to detail Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple stakeholders given this hybrid role Experience using modern ERP systems (NetSuite experience a huge plus) as well as Microsoft 365 suite Experience in a building materials trade is also a huge plus
