This role works closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain material flow, optimize inventory levels, and support company purchasing objectives. What You'll Do Create and manage purchase orders for production materials and supplies. Source materials and identify qualified suppliers. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, and lead times. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials arrive on time. Communicate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and order issues. Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization efforts. Assist with purchase price variance reviews and reporting. Help maintain office and shop supply inventories. Support the Buyer II and Supply Chain Manager with daily procurement activities. Assist local management with administrative and operational support as needed. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
