Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support sourcing and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will assist with supplier selection, RFQs, purchase orders, supplier communication, order management, data analysis, and process improvement . The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of sourcing or supply chain experience in manufacturing , be comfortable communicating with suppliers and internal teams, and be able to work on a computer for most of the day. Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Sourcing & Selection Support the sourcing team in supplier selection and supply-base management. Follow up, expedite, and de-expedite open orders to align with demand. Identify appropriate suppliers for component RFQs in collaboration with the Sourcing Manager. Develop and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and analyze supplier responses. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes, pricing, lead times, and other relevant information. Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding open orders and sourcing activities. Support sample purchase orders and manage supplier order acknowledgements and dates. Supply Chain & Purchasing Issue purchase orders as needed. Load sourcing and supplier information into the ERP system . Support invoice and pricing resolution. Load PPAP documentation for new part qualifications. Support supply-chain initiatives focused on improving supplier delivery and cost performance . Data & Process Improvement Run reports and analyze supply-chain data to identify improvement opportunities. Lead or support projects designed to improve internal sourcing and supply-chain processes. Track and follow up on issues through resolution. Support process improvements across the sourcing and supply-chain organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations . 1-3 years of sourcing or supply chain experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with suppliers and supplier quotations . Experience preparing, reviewing, or analyzing RFQs/quotes . Experience running reports and analyzing data. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, management, and cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Manufacturing supply-chain experience. Experience with ERP systems and purchasing processes. Experience with purchase orders and supplier order management. Familiarity with PPAP and new-part qualification . Experience with supplier performance, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who can manage multiple supplier-related activities, identify issues, and drive them toward resolution. This position requires someone who is comfortable spending most of the workday on a computer while also regularly interacting with suppliers, internal departments, management, and colleagues through in-person and Teams communication . Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based, light-duty work. Ability to sit, stand, and walk independently. Frequent use of computers and office applications. Ability to use hands and fingers to operate equipment and controls. Must be able to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication. Normal correctable vision required. #NIT05
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
