We're adding a Sourcing & Estimating Coordinator to support our sales and production teams. The Role You'll sit between sales, purchasing, and the shop floor. You'll help build accurate quotes by pulling material costs, tracking vendor pricing, and entering data carefully. What You'll Do Help sales and production prepare quotes and cost estimates for customer RFQs Request and compare pricing from metal suppliers and service vendors (steel, raw materials, stainless, finishing, hardware, etc.) Calculate material costs using weights, dimensions, gauges, and scrap allowances Enter and maintain quote, pricing, and vendor data in our ERP/estimating system and spreadsheets Track open quotes and follow up with internal teams and suppliers to keep them moving Keep a current record of material price changes and lead times, and flag big swings Read basic drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) to pull quantities and specs Help with purchase orders, supplier records, and other sourcing admin as needed What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience in estimating, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or a similar office role (manufacturing experience is a plus but not required) Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers every day Fast, accurate data entry with close attention to detail Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, sorting, basic lookups) Organized, with the ability to juggle several quotes at once and meet deadlines Clear communicator by email and phone with coworkers and vendors Willingness to learn materials, shop processes, and blueprint reading (we'll train you) Nice to Have Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a technical field Familiarity with metals, gauges, and material grades Experience with an ERP system Exposure to blueprint or technical drawing reading
