Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Shipping and Receiving professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products to clients. Which can consist of the delivery of finished parts and picking up material in a 16' box truck (no CDL needed) and/or a company pickup truck. MUST have a clean driving record. Other tasks are maintaining warehouse inventory and shipping and receiving duties. Must be able to operate a forklift to load and unload material or finished parts. We can certify for forklift use. Must have great people skills. At times assisting in the shop doing hardware or assisting with other shop machines and tasks if needed. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles including 16' box truck and a pickup truck for delivery purposes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements. Load, unload, and secure goods using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift and manual handling techniques to ensure safe lifting practices. Manage warehouse operations by organizing shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records. Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service through professional communication and timely deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or shipping & receiving area. Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices. Load and unload shipments from trucks or containers, ensuring proper weight handling in the workplace with attention to safety standards. Ability to lift 50 - 70 lbs if needed. Experience Valid driver's license with a Clean Driving Record to drive box truck & pickup truck. Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks, forklift or similar tools. Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred. Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and adherence to DOT regulations is essential. Experience in courier services or shipping/receiving roles demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions for route planning and delivery execution.
